Windows registry

Trojan Virus or Windows registry repair.
Of all of the registry viruses that can invade your computer, a Trojan virus is probably one of the most feared. What most people don't realize is that a Trojan virus is actually not a virus that all in most cases. It does, however, typically install a program that will open up a backdoor to your registry and allow a flood of other viruses and spyware to enter it on your pc registry. The Trojan virus does not have the ability to self replicate, it just causes a whole host of registry problems. The reason why it is called a Trojan is because it was borrowed from the Trojan horse, a mythological tale of a giant, hollow horse that was left outside of the city of Troy. Once this horse was taken into the city, enemy troops poured out from the inside and overtook the city. The Trojan virus works in much the same way. It may look or act like a program that you would want to open but once you open it, it invades your computer's registry and overtakes it. Just like any other type of virus, a Trojan horse can be removed from your system by use of an antivirus program. This program should also be able to remove any of the other viruses or spyware programs that it allowed to install. The first step, when you feel as if you have been invaded by a Trojan virus, is to do a scan to identify all of the registry problems. The scanner will then be able to give you options for cleaning your computer and removing the threat.
